Avant-garde fashion label 424 might've just stolen Paris Fashion Week 2025 with its preview of a Nike Air Foamposite One Boot.

Outlander Magazine shared images and video of an upcoming collection by Guillermo Andrade consists of a number of swoosh-branded items. The range arrives after a longstanding relationship between 424 and Adidas, and consists of distressed, fashion-forward takes on football kits for the Brazilian, German, and U.S. National Football Teams, among others. Andrade's most captivating piece, however, is the reworked Foamposite model.

A first-look at 424's Nike retro omits any visible co-branding–an intentional omission as confirmed days after by Andrade. According to the designer, the shoes are merely an exercise in creative expression, not a commercial release with the Swoosh.

The pair from Anfernee Deon "Penny" Hardaway's signature series takes on a predominantly 'White' ensemble that benefits from the shell-like material's glossy finish. Underfoot, the translucent outsole is given an aged aesthetic that falls in line with the rest of Andrade's debut work for the North American sportswear juggernaut. A high-quality boot-like collar updates the old school basketball shoe, positioning it firmly within the avant-garde fashion space. The design update doesn't make a statement with its color palette; instead, the modification–which begins at the vamp–disrupts the Nike Foamposite's DNA with its height and metal zipper at the spine.

Renowned brand COMME des GARÇONS previously updated Eric Avar's bettle-inspired shoe by bringing a radial pattern to the Foamposite mold. CDG's offerings were immediately celebrated by savvy fashion enthusiasts–even with their steep $520 price tag.

Although the Foamposite Boot won't see a retail launch, it's possible the art project will get Nike's attention and lead to an eventual, official collaboration with 424. Until then, enjoy a look at Andrade's work ahead.
