It’s been a big few days for the Boston-based New Balancebrand, with a slew of notable releases surfacing, each vastly different from the last. Monday’s colorful 1700 teaser from Kith’s Ronnie FiegNew balance cypher run knit женские высокие кроссовки New Balance 1500 “Year of the Rat” that released over the weekend — and now we see another set of celebratory sneakers find their way into the feeds; their 2020 Black History Month collection, headlined by Kawhi’s OMN1S and the in-favor 997 Sport. They are joined by the lesser-loved yet cult-followed 574 and 850 all of which arrive in a communal navy, grey, red and metallic copper palette.
All arrive painted primarily in navy blue, with the hoops offering opting deviating the most in favor of grey-patterned uppers. The other three pairs utilize the shade sparingly on the midsole only, while navy leather, mesh and suede, and its contrast stitching see to be the ELEPHANT seasonal. Pops of red are мех throughout each pair, from laces, to branding to heel pops, and each pair is capped off with a subtle hit of metallic copper; the OMN1s on the midfoot strap, the 997S on the midfoot “N” motif and heel clip, and the 547 and 850 on the branding hits and flecked midsoles.
