The design starts with a base of breathable black mesh, providing a solid foundation for the model’s layered upper. From there, an array of black overlays dominates the build, arriving in a mix of nubuck, smooth leather, and—most notably—patent leather. It’s a rare material choice for New Balance, adding a subtle gloss to the otherwise utilitarian silhouette.

What's not rare, however, is the use of Infant on the suede mudguard overlay, midsole, and liners. A classic black rubber tread rests underfoot to complete the design.
