The New Balance 990x Made in USA series, thanks to Aime Leon Dore’s Teddy Santis, has seen a colossal rise to the top of the lifestyle sneaker market. Its tasteful colorways, premium tooling, and, of course, Teddy’s name attached have given the Boston-based brand a big boost. And it’s colorways like this new effort in green, olive, and burgundy that continue the charge.

Here, mesh uppers are omitted in favor of forest green canvas, with dusty suede overlays working from heel to toe. Big, bold burgundy midfoot N’s are framed in stark white, with tongue branding following suit. All of this comes together on a charcoal sole unit underfoot, with tongue tags and heel overlays to match.
