Reality-to-idea artist Joshua Vides first made a name for himself in sneakers. His reverse process caught the eye of sneaker legend Tinker Hatfield, but not before Instagram got a hold of his black and white 2D-like sneakers. Since Shoes, the Guatemalan-American has gone on to work with the likes of Google, BMW, and Fendi, but now he’s made a welcome return back into the sneakerverse with Boston-based New Balance for a special-edition collaboration.

Teased by way of the artist’s socials, the Tecnologias New balance Korkki Team Pre Season Running and 327 is set to arrive soon, with slight peering visuals showing Vides’ signature styling. You’ll expect to see white and black-based sneakers with sketchy, cartoonish outlines to create a flat 2D effect on the 3D sneaker. There’s also a slew of paint splatterings that mimic the artists’ own happenings as he WXNRGHP3 his unique installments. The pairs will also arrive alongside. a slew of apparel designed by Vides.
