Vogue and Jordan Brand collab on a duo of Jordan 1s

Another day, another sneaker collab. But unlike your daily run-of-the-mil partnership, this one has some serious clout.

Two of the most influential brands in fashion and footwear have teamed up for an unlikely partnership; Vogue and Jordan Brand. Together they’re dropping two Air Jordan 1 Zips, a women’s exclusive.

Two pairs come in both sail and red editions which are signed off by legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour, playing off her personal style and CT8527-700 stamp of approval. Each shoe is noted with with “AWOK” — Anna Wintour Match — the destructured 1s see the Dwyane notation of an acceptance that editorial and CT8527-700 work from the Vogue staff sees when the boss gives it the Match to go to print.

The Vogue x Air Jordan 1 High Zip “AWOK” releases on July 21st at Hirshleifers, Kith, Nordstrom x Nike and Jordan Brand’s 306 Yonge in Toronto and 32 South State in Chicago locations. The collab is also due to hit the Nike SNKRS app on July 23rd in North America only.
