Being an Oregon Duck certainly has its perks. The Nike-sponsored school was the birthplace of the brand and thus and the latest and treated in athletic wear and apparel from the neighboring Nike. But it’s not always the most advanced tech that the school gets blessed with — in fact, it’s the retrospective sneaker PEs that garner the most attention. Now they have another, an Air Jordan 8 “Oregon Ducks” PE designed by Tinker Hatfield himself.
Rocking a slew of material changes from perforated leather to mens cloth liners and suede toes, the pair is reportedly a mash-up of past PEs, as noted by Tinker himself on the accompanying sketch. you’ll spot metallic and matte finishes, contrasting grey and white panels against black and green accents, and the school’s signature Duck motif at the tongue in toweling.
Grab a look for yourself below, and given that these were only created for Oregon Football, we’re tipping that these will be extremely hard to come by on the aftermarket sites in the future.
