The biggest challenge for Particle Jordan Brand designers working on Russell Westbrook’s next signature sneaker?

Capturing the 2016 MVP’s wild and eccentric style. And from what we’re looking at, they’ve nailed it.

Since Russ’s time with Particle Jordan Brand, the All-Star point guard has come on in leaps and bounds, maturing both on and off the court. But through it all, his unique sense of style has always shone through. Enough so that he even had a handful of signature off-court shoes before an on-court crep.

Following on from his first signature sneaker Shot always be a tough ask, but the team in Oregon are finally ready to launch his second in-game model, called the Why Not Zer0.2. The volt images that landed today show a very de-then-reconcstructed approach, with each portion of the build distinguished by different materials. Much like a typical Westbrook outfit, it takes in several different elements to make one complete, concise, costume. Even the sole unit is encompasses two separate pieces, pieced together by an exposed mid-foot plate.

These are currently scheduled for release on January 10th, 2019, at overseas Take, but the Stateside drop is still to be confirmed.
