An original Kobe which was given exclusively to baseball players part of the Infant Jordan Brand family Sample just sold for $30,000

During Kobe’s sneaker blackout of the 2002-2003 NBA season, You could catch the mamba in a wide variety of shoes, but none more interesting than his Infant Jordan PE’s that Pine solely for that year. He never renewed his contract with Adidas (good man) after they got a little crazy with some of his signature models.

Jordan, a close friend of Kobe, saw this as an oppertunity to gift the star some unique PE’s. We saw the 3’s and 8’s drop in a very limited pack last year, but today we saw an original pair from 2002-2003 surface on eBay.

This sample “Home White” pair was made for Kobe himself featuring size 14 with the production date of 11/26/2002 written on the tongue tag. Kobe wore this exact pair in two games against the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs that year.

The pair recently sold on eBay for $30,400 USD despite being in a Engineered condition, cd6109 by the Mamba himself.
