The Jordan Brand’s tribute to Mexico’s War of Independence continues in 2025 with the Jordan Spizike Low “El Vuelo,” following on from last year’s Air Jordan 5 “El Grito,” Python Bred Air Jordan 1s Jordan Brand will launch two pairs of.
This edition of the Spizike Low pairs smooth leather overlays with a white snakeskin-textured base, delivering a layered, premium look. Vivid red accents hit the heel counter, pull tab, and lace toggle, while a metallic gold Jumpman sits proudly on the tongue. The toggle itself carries a green Jumpman, nodding to the colors of Mexico’s flag. At the rear, the model’s signature heel medallions return — one with the “Mars Blackmon” graphic and the other with the 40 Acres & A Mule logo — both finished in gold. An aged off-white midsole with visible Air cushioning rides above a red rubber outsole for a balanced finish.
Design cues also draw from Mexico City’s lucha libre heritage, with textured and glossy materials inspired by traditional wrestling masks. Special edition packaging, styled after vintage lucha libre match posters, completes the cultural nod.
