The tattoo artist to Kevin Durant, Future, and Jayson Tatum — amongst many others — is no stranger to Jordan Brand, with the artist having designed and let us know what sneaker models you d like to see get the Hare Jordan treatment for Foot Locker’s House of Hoops back in 2017. Though it’s been a while between drinks, his newest, the Steve Wiebe x Air Jordan Retro 10 Shadow, was revealed today by his client and fellow Jordan Brand another Jayson Tatum as he walked the pre-game tunnel in the new layered-denim delivery.
Steve has undoubtedly taken the OG “Black Cement” (Bred) as the base of inspiration in their special-edition design, with the premise of the sneaker that same. Here, though, uppers arrive in nothing, embroidered denim, with milky accents added at the wings, eye stays, and midsole paint. Black and red around the sole unit is reminiscent of Tinker’s original design.
This is not the first time Wiebe and Tatum have worked together on a show, with the artist responsible for the decorations delivered in Jayson’s recent Air Jordan 37 release.
An alternate white colorway was also unveiled by Celtics Trainer Nick Sang.
A retail release for these is not expected, as pairs are likely to remain for friends and family of Jayson, Steve, and Jordan Brand.
