Official Looks at Jayson Tatum’s Ford Mustang-Inspired Air Jordans

NIKE AIR JORDAN 1 RETRO HIGH BLACK SNAKE W 23cm Rui Hachimura won’t be the only Jordan Brand athlete to get his own Air Jordan Retro/36 collections, with Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum next at the plate. Previewing both an Der Air Jordan 8 Quai 54 ist da and Air Jordan 36 inspired by his classic ’66 Ford Mustang.

Though only teased via IG stories, the inspiration behind the pair is clear, with heritage Mustang-inspired rear branding, high-gloss black overlays, and quilted leather uppers that likely reference the vehicle’s interior.

Though not confirmed by the brand, other Jordan Brand athletes like Luka Doncic, Chris Paul, Russ Westbrook, and possibly Zion Williamson will each get their own retro/36 releases. In fact, earlier this week, Doncic revealed a Jordan 11 Low IE which may well see a retail release later this year.

As for this pair, there’s currently no word on Cement it will release, but given that Rui’s pack is expected to release later this month, you should start to hear murms shortly. Until then, enjoy the first look at both pairs here below.
