Jadakiss Air Jordan 5 Fire Red | Jalen Hurts Inks Endorsement Deal With Jordan Brand

The journey from Oklahoma to Philadelphia has been one marked by perseverance, tenacity, and undeniable talent. Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles' star quarterback who took them to the doorstep of Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl 52, has emerged as not just an NFL luminary but also a significant face in the world of sports endorsements.

His prowess on the gridiron, combined with an unmistakable style, has led him to a monumental moment: Jalen Hurts has officially inked a deal with Nike's Jordan Brand.

While Hurts has showcased a penchant for Jordan Brand cleats, sporting them in every single one of the team’s 18 games last season, this new alliance elevates his association to an official capacity. From rocking Air Jordan 1s to the Air Jordan 12s on the field, his love for the brand has been palpable. To commemorate this union, an announcement video voiced by none other than Travis Scott hit the airwaves, adding a touch of hip-hop royalty to the proceedings.

The Fresh Prince of Philly, as Hurts is fondly called, joins the elite ranks of NFL quarterbacks partnered with the iconic Jumpman logo. This exclusive list includes Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys and young sensation Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers. Prescott's association with the brand, in particular, has been headline-grabbing, having penned a significant deal with them in 2021 post his split from adidas.

It's interesting to trace Hurts' journey with endorsements. During his rookie year, he was spotted in Under Armor cleats, although without any formal partnership. Subsequently, in 2021, he was recognized as Eastbay’s first brand ambassador. However, with Eastbay shuttering its operations in December 2022, the 2022-2023 season saw Hurts exercising full freedom in his choice of footwear. His penchant for swapping cleats, akin to NBA players changing shoes during games, makes him a dynamic ambassador for Jordan Brand.

Given Hurts' recent success, this partnership was an almost inevitable culmination. Earlier this year, the quarterback was presented with a staggering five-year contract, pegged at $255 million with the Philadelphia Eagles. This endorsement deal serves as another feather in his already illustrious cap.

Jordan Brand's vision for the future is clearly visible with this signing. As they venture into expanding their line, with models like the Air Jordan 1 Mid and Low being adapted for the gridiron, athletes of Hurts' caliber and influence make for the ideal ambassadors.

The journey of Jalen Hurts, from college sensation to NFL superstar, and now the newest face of the Jumpman in football, is nothing short of inspirational. As Jumpman aptly puts it: "Before Original ever had an opinion, @jalenhurts had a purpose. Welcome to the Family." The stage is set, and the world eagerly waits to see what this collaboration will unveil.
