Founded by Easy Otabor, Infinite Archives has deep connections within the industry, collaborating with notable figures like Don C and Virgil Abloh at Chicago’s RSVP, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and KAWS on various projects.

The pair will arrive in a color combination of "Beach/Metallic Silver/Black." Otabor gave the world a first-look at his project during Paris Fashion Week. He later took to Instagram to share that his Official Photos of the Air Jordan 1 Mid Canvas Low was partly inspired by Mike Bibby's Player-Exclusive pairs from his days with the Sacramento Kings.

On Friday, April 18, the Infinite Archives frontman took to social media to shared a "University Red"-accented edition of his impending collaboration. The pair features the same color-blocking as the Air Jordan spotted during Paris Fashion Week, bearing semblance to some of the color schemes from the sneaker's original run.

On June 24, a new blue-accented pair was spotted on-foot as Otabor stepped out in Paris once again. While no details were shared, the alternate colorway hints at a broader rollout for the Infinite Archives x Official Photos of the Air Jordan 1 Mid Canvas Low project.

Unfortunately, only a "Beach" edition of the collaborative project is scheduled for a public release.

Otabor took to Instagram on June 26 to share some information about his Infinite Archives retro project. According to the brand owner, the sneaker collaboration is "A tribute to Original Jordan Brand players." This further reinforced the aforementioned connection to Bibby.
