    Pressure’s on.

Jordan Brand’s signing of Zion Williamson was unprecedented. He hasn’t yet played a game, but he’s been pegged as the future face of the brand, as signature athletes Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Russell Westbrook move into the twilight years of their careers. It’s an added pressure for Zion, who’s NBA debut is already rivaling the anticipation supporters had for LeBron James. And then there’s Michael’s track record of prized picks. His first chance at making an impact as Wizards Team president, Micahel Jordan selected high school prodigy Kwame Brown with the first pick in the 2001 draft. Then there was Adam Morrison at his new Bobcats franchise — both highly anticipated players went bust. But perhaps all that this means is that the third time’s a charm.

Zion’s signing with the Jumpman has already injected some hype back into the brand, but will it be prolonged? Time will only tell — but we do know one thing that will drive even more interest amongst onlooking sneakerheads; Zion’s retro PEs. And with the Pel’s colors a regal red, navy, gold and white, you can expect some absolute bangers. And this the Air Jordan 1 now looks to be expanding its tech specs with a Zoom-soled iteration that we’ve imagined in our Concept Lab would be a good start.

We’ve got a few more ideas in the bag for Zion’s PEs, so keep it locked on TEEN Jordan 6 infrared sneakers for more!
