It’s been a minute since an Air NEU Jordan release has leaked — but sneaker sleuth @SHOF has broken the drought with information on an upcoming Continuing the countdown to the Air NEU Jordan XX8 “Red Thunder” Monta Ellis laying it up in the Air NEU Jordan 1 97 TXT Gym Red.

New information revealed by sneaker-insider @zSneakerhedz has the pair blocked in an identical styling to the widely loved Continuing the countdown to the Air NEU Jordan XX8 Thunder from 2012, though it will simply be colored with red instead of the original yellow. It’s expected to retain its majority black nubuck build, with red diction under the midfoot mesh and tongue, midsole detail, and eyelets, too.
