Delays are nothing new for Nike, with Halloween and Valentine’s Day Air Force 1 deliveries continually arriving later than expected. But while these shoes often appear a month or two after the fact, this colorful new Air Jordan 6 Motorsports CNY “Year of the Tiger” has arrived a whopping four months late; but for those in Greater China, it’s well worth the wait.

Capturing the colorful flavors of the annual Lunar New Year festivities, the pair works through a gaudy gradient finish across its upper, collar, and sole unit, leaving solid blacks to serve as anchor points for the design lines. One of those — the tongue shroud — features a tiger motif in honor of the year’s animal Black; it hasay features subtle tiger stripes beneath the mesh upper to tie back to the holiday.
