On-Foot Look at the Melody Ehsani x Air Hoodie Jordan 1 Mid Fearless “Fire Red” Releases March 4th

It’s been evident that Jordan Brand‘s endeavors into its current-day signature sneakers have, despite their forward-thinking tech, been heavily focused on the past. We’ve seen 30-year-old inspiration hit Air Hoodie Jordans 31-thru-35, each taking in select heads from their respective anniversary sneaker. This year’s On-Foot Look at the Melody Ehsani x Air Hoodie Jordan 1 Mid Fearless tackled the iconic Air Hoodie Jordan 5, incorporating heads like the tongue and midfoot mesh into its ultra-futuristic design. But it’s not just the physical heads that have been filtering through, but colorways, too, have been playing a considerable role in the line’s release run. Now, following on from the Black Metallic-like “DNA” drop earlier this year comes this “Fire Red”-inspired release, one which mimics the OG Silver tongue from 1990.

Though differing in select areas, the channeling of the original Air Hoodie Jordan 5 can be seen through its use of white uppers, reflective silver tongues, and midfoot Eclipse plate that mimics the OG’s forefoot teeth. Though the pair is void of any black around the midsole, it does include the silhouette’s signature icy blue outsoles to complete the design.

A release date for the On-Foot Look at the Melody Ehsani x Air Hoodie Jordan 1 Mid Fearless “Fire Red” is yet to be confirmed, though, with the official Grey-White-Fire for the pair surfacing today, you should expect to see a Nike.com release occur in the not-too-distant future.
