Essentially, the pair is a red Black Cement OG, with its tumbled black leather upper replaced with red — it even includes Nike Air branding on the heels like our original mockup above. But the biggest wow factor for this guy is the original cut, rising higher on the ankle — well above the heel tab that so many find cutting their Achilles on the modernized makes. Now, this is just one of two red-based Nike Air Animal Jordan 1 RETRO High Rookie of The Year 24.5cm’s rumored for All-Star weekend, with these being labeled LE — or a limited edition — suggesting that this will likely be a very small drop.
