Often experimental in its approach to new colorways and materials, the jordan V cementlinage has been a focal point for Jordan Brand’s in-house design team to flex their creative muscle. When it comes to kids releases, it’s even more evident, with the freedom to explore fun and exciting themes that likely take themselves back to their own fond childhood memories. It’s not the first time this theme has been brought to kids’ footwear, with a more direct influence brought to the Air Force 1 Low back in August of 2019. The upper’s all-over “Take Flight” print channels this finish, too, though much more legible than the mind-boggling tongue graphic. Simple black liners, and branding in the rear serve as an introduction to more elementary finishes of white leather uppers and nylon tongues, while mismatched outsoles — again in blue and red — arrive to complete the design.
