This is not the first model to receive a price increase this year, with other Nike, Inc. classics like the Air Force 1 and Air Max 97 also seeing price spikes. The move, though not officially stated, is likely due to ‘inflation’ and rising costs of labor and logistics during the COVID pandemic.

The Air Jordan High 85 line Track still retain its OG specs and run alongside revamped mainline releases.
This Track be the second price rise in as many years, with the model retailing for $160 back in 2019. In 2020, prices went up to $170, and now, come October 2022, Track rise again to $180.
