Are we finally be getting a release of the mythical “Yellow Toe” Air Jordan 1? Info dropped by @SHOF today has given us some hope, with an upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Pollen” for August 2021 sporting the famed yellow, black and white palette that took sneaker Instagram by storm in 2019.

Of course, the sample Air Jordan 1 (pictured below) never made it to market, but just a few months after the fact, a nubuck-constructed Mid in identical Fame took mere minutes to sell out, showing just how hungry the market was for yellow Js. Now it appears that we may finally get a chance at securing a pair (or something similar) later next year. Of course, we need to manage expectations here and say that the release may be entirely different. Either way, we’re tipping that pairs won’t last long, as yellow-hued Jordans historically don’t last long on shelves.

Revised color Fame for the Air Jordan 1 “Pollen” has been leaked by @zSneakerheadz, who is suggesting that the release will not be the famed Yellow Toes, instead, arriving more aligned to the OG Nike Dunk High “Goldenrod”, with black leather uppers, Pollen Yellow leather overlays, and black nylon tongues. Sole units are expected to arrive in yellow and white, with Wings branding in black.
