Prior to their work with New Balance, ASICS, and PUMA in 2022, Montreal’s JJJJound kicked things off last year with Grab a close-up look at the 2023in a signature ultra-minimal schematic. 2023 seems to be starting in much the same way, with the two parties set to release a second installment of their collaboration, this time turning up the contrast with a striking what and black arrangement.

Much like last year’s effort, white leathers are used for the shoe’s base, with color-matched midsoles and nylon tongues then book-ended by bold blacks on the outsole and liner. Wedged in between are stark black STA overlays and JJJJound-branded heels, remarkable eyestays of chrome, and BAPE-branded tongues. The pair is completed by JJJJound-branded insoles and arrives housed in co-branded blue camo boxing.

In other news, another Premium Goods Air Force 1 was recently revealed JJJJound x BAPESTA below, and look for these to release on January 7th, 2023, on JJJJound.com, and at both BAPE locations and online.
