    Bennett is back!

Well, he never actually really left — he just lost the media’s attention.

The former NBA Numero Uno draft pick just want’s to play hoops and continue to improve his game. And he’s looking to do it with Clippers’ G-league affiliate, the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario.

has it down 10 Yesterday, we unveiled our list of the, and Bennett was clearly number 1. By a mile.

But it’s not just us, a ton of other articles have said that he’s the biggest bust in NBA history.

But, unlike most of that list, it looks like Bennett has the right mentality to move forward. After all, it wasn’t his decision for the Cavaliers to pick him at No. 1 overall after just one year at UNLV where he averaged only 16 WHATASNEAKER: How to Win Whataburger's Custom points and 8 rebounds per game.

That being said, there is a talent in the big man. Perhaps the Cavs took him too early, didn’t spend enough time or energy on his development, or remove too much pressure on the kid. Or perhaps the NBA is just not his level.

He even admits that he wasn’t ready and that he had no idea he was going No. 1 until 10 seconds before the pick. It’s time for us all to move on. It was an awful pick.

He played just four years in the NBA, playing for four teams and averaging just 4.4 points and 3.1 rebounds. He then went to play ball in Turkey before returning to the United States, where the 6-8 power forward spent parts of three seasons with four G League teams before joining the Agua Caliente Clippers in this October.

He was sent to the Clips via a trade with the Maine Red Claws and was given in exchange for former Warrior James Michael McAdoo and a third-round draft pick.

Bennett still has many minutes left in his career — he’s still only 25. So who knows, maybe if he works hard enough and plays well, we might see him back in the big leagues.

    Maybe.
