6 NBA All-Stars Who Should Be Traded Before the Deadline

Trade talks.

Yeah — we know, the NBA season is barely underway. But it’s already glaringly obvious who’s in trouble this season, who needs to rebuild and who needs to rid themselves of unwanted drama.

Jimmy Butler was one of those All-Stars who the Timberwolves were glad to shake, after a tremulous and very public relationship breakdown between parties.

But there’s still a few more top guns who need to move one, whether it be in their best interest or their franchises.

Here are some legitimate trade possibilities that should be considered to keep things from spinning out of control:

6. Kevin Love

It’s no secret that the Cleveland Cavaliers have been simple woeful since LeBron’s departure, And now, in Kevin Love’s absence, things continue to get worse and worse. They absolutely need to rebuild, so it makes a lot of sense to offload Kevin Love and start again — and Kevin would be much better utilized elsewhere.

5. Bradley Beal

If you’re the Washington Wizards right now, you’d want to clean up your locker room STAT. The team chemistry is no longer there, and the only cure is drastic change. Bradley Beal is one that needs to move on, for the benefit of both parties. He has been a consistent high-level performer for a number of years, plus his contract is far more movable than that of fellow All-Star guard John Wall (we’ll get to him later)

4. Isaiah Thomas

The Denver Nuggets have gotten off to a flyer in 2018/19, and they’ve managed to do it without the two-time all-star and 2017 MVP candidate Isaiah Thomas. And, if the Nugs continue to win and improve without the injury-plagued guard, then they may as well trade him off for a solid sixth man who would actually bring more value to the squad.

3. John Wall

John Wall is a jet. But if he can’t get along with everyone in his locker room, he needs to go. While the level of drama isn’t up to Jimmy Butler’s level just yet, he’s caused a fair share of frustration for the Wizards front office. It would surprise no one if the Wizards wanted to get rid of the five-time All-Star to forge a fresh start — and a functioning locker room.

2. Kemba Walker

Kemba’s talent has been sleeping for years. Mainly because nobody actually watches Hornets games — resulting in Charlotte holding on to one of the leagues biggest gems for far too long. Simply, he deserves much better. Walker is, and always has been, a one-man show in Charlotte, but this season is something else. Dropping 60 points against the 76ers and then 43 on the Celtics the following night, he should be asking for more from his teammates — or asking Mike to send him on his way.

1. Draymond Green

Draymond Green has been pivotal for the Warriors during the formation of their dynasty. There’s simply no denying that. But if Green continues to cause drama in their locker room, and divide the team, there’s strong potential for a trade, particularly given that he’s in his age 29 season and not likely to develop new facets to this game. Besides, if the Dubs’ front office had to pick between KD and Draymond, the odds are in favor of the two-time reigning Finals MVP.
