It’s been a fairly hot start for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Converse, with their first two link-ups some of the most anticipated Converse drops of the past year. Though it’s now been a while between drinks, the OKC star has stepped out in a new collaboration, the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander x Converse Run Star Motion

Converse x Rick Owens TURBODRK Kanye’s “Taupe Blue” Desert Boot, Shai’s new shoe sits atop a sole unit entirely of royal blue. Here, its chunky, wavy, and heavy traction is heightened by the hue, and more so by the simple tonal tan canvas upper above that frames it. It’s not all tan up top, with hints of olive at the pulls and Converse Star branding, with Chuck Taylor’s John Hancock sitting at the tongue in blue to complete the shoe.
