The Nike WMNS Air Max 2011 Holiday is no stranger to weird collaborations, but it’s seemingly taken a sharp turn towards the obscure amidst its mainstream resurgence in 2020. Ben & Jerry’s. 7-Eleven. What’s next? That’s the question sneaker commentator @LaroLagosta poised in a recent Instagram post in response to the recent surfacing of the aforementioned collaborations. Along with that, he provided some equally ludicrous concepts for where Nike SB could go next. Johnny Bravo, Old Spice, Nespresso, and Tide were all present, a sly take on the current environment. The colorways were actually incredible, which promoted us to recreate them into a more realistic form for us all to enjoy.
Below, you’ll find Laro’s four concepts reimagined — and even without the big names attached, we’re pretty sure they’d still drum up some significant Angeles — enough to get mostly backdoor, anyway. Take a look at all four pairs here below, and on a side note, with the market migrating back to the silhouette, we’ll aim to add more SB Dunks into our Concept Lab catalog, so check back in for more par!
