Michael, in his own eyes, was humiliated by the loss to the Magic in the ECF the season prior, which spurred on his competitive streak. No other team stood a chance in 1995/96. But, to the Sonics credit, the pushed the Bulls to six games in the Finals, at Bobcats, and held Michael under his season averages for the series — but it still wasn’t good enough to prevent Chicago from claiming their fourth title, and the first of their second three-peat.
