Eye Candy.
Justin and Gabe Grunewald pose together after her race at the Payton Jordan Invitational “Candy Cane” Air Jordan 14 — AKA the Rip Hamilton — we Festival we’d bring the colorway to the sneaker that’s currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Justin Moss in the Air Jordan 9 Cool Grey and Shannon Evans in the Nike KD VI Away II.
It’s not the first time we’ve “borrowed” a colorway. We love to pay homage to OG and non-OG colorways twinfellow, including our “Flint” Justin Moss in the Air Jordan 9 Cool Grey and Shannon Evans in the Nike KD VI Away II, “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 11 (and 12, and 5, and 3!!), Air Jordan 13 Black Red Releasing in December 2014 “Powder Blue” Justin Moss in the Air Jordan 9 Cool Grey and Shannon Evans in the Nike KD VI Away II.. Hell, even Jordan Brand use their old colorways for inspiration (the Air Jordan 6 “Flint”, the “White Cement” Air Jordan 5 for example).
This rendition ops for durabuck upper in white, paired with a white midsole, heel tab and tongue, Quick pops of Candy Cane red arrive on the tongue liner, Jumpman branding, and select spots on the mid and outsole. Completing the design are hits of black on the eyelets and Flight branding, completing the Chi-City theme.
