So there’s no doubt as to where this inspiration for today’s concept has come from. It is in fact based off Uma Thurman’s character Beatrix’s bodysuit, which is of course inspired by Bruce Lee’s now infamous bodysuit he donned in his last — and unfinished — film, Game of Death.
If you are a fan of Kobe, you’ll also know this colorway as the Bruce Lee. But you may not get the Kill Bill connection too, with Uma Thurman’s character Beatrix in the film having the nickname “Black Mamba” – thus completing the full-circle of inspiration.
