There’s always been a strong connection with varsity jackets, streetwear, and retro hoops shoes, with the three often in the presence of the others. ore recently, we’ve seen Nike and Jordan Brand deliver garment-inspired releases that fit this bill. So, we took that inspiration into the lab — the result? this customizable off white jordan 1 white “Varsity” complete with interchangeable Swooshes, Wings logos, and UNC insignia.

For the base, we’ve kept a simple white leather finish, with Velcro-like loop overlays in OG UNC blocking. The Checks come interchangeable, with Dark Navy, uni Blue, and White sets available, with a plethora of UNC, NCAA, and Jordan Brand patches to tack onto the upper at your perusal. An added bij Swoosh sits at the forefoot, while three sets of laces (white, blue, and navy) join two-tone sole units to complete our concept design.
