Debuted in 2011 as a budget-friendly running sneaker, the ASICS GT-2160™ has become one of the more popular retro styles over the last year. Its accessible price point, comfort, and plethora of color schemes have made it a go-to option for countless folks across the globe. With summer fast-approaching, the silhouette has emerged in a modified build that turns it into a sneaker sandal of sorts.

Kurtki Asics Białe GEL-Sonoma SE, the newly-surfaced style breathes new life into a tried-and-proven design. A porous base is visible at the toe box, while profile panels indulge in a synthetic material clad in "Pure Silver" elegance. Vector and GT-2160 Detailed reprises its role, but construction throughout the profiles abandons its traditional build in favor of cutouts. The omission of material at the mid-foot and heel allows for Hohe ventilation and enables wear across the great outdoors.

Elsewhere, the modified GT-2160™ features pull tabs on the spine and heel, with both areas revealing a lightweight neoprene that hugs the foot in place while also helping with moisture-resistance. Non-standard lace loops and a speed-toggle system join the mix, delivering new functionality to the 14-year-old design.
