SNIPES' presence has been essential to New York's five boroughs, and the retailer's Superstar project pays homage to this.

Adidas' heritage silhouette takes on a classic 'White' base for the latest collaborative effort. Profile 3-Stripes and inner lining opt for 'Black' contrast that harkens back to the days of Run-D.M.C. and b-boys. A vibrant 'Scarlet' hue animates the Achilles' heel panel and special apple-shaped hangtag, while shimmering 'Gold Metallic' branding lands on the tongue, the lateral mid-foot, and the aforementioned red components. Classic trefoil logos on the left heel are replaced with fluorescent 'Green' NYC text.

Each component on SNIPES' commemorative Adidas Originals offering is special, but all play supporting roles to the tattoo-reminiscent etching found across the profiles. The 'Black'-colored detail draws inspiration from the Hudson River's swirls. Custom graphics on the insoles also honor some of the city's local landmarks, adding to the thematic footwear product.
