We are, after all, just one race; the Human Race. It should come as no surprise that Skateboard P’s echoed message would flow into his other creative fields, footwear being one of them. Now, just four months after publication, Pharrell and adidas will be delivering a six-piece “Black Future” collection that’s inclusive of some of the Three Stripe’s most revered silhouettes.

Fittingly, all six options arrive in all black, with an Ultra BOOST 20, Ultra BOOST DNA, NMD_R1, D.O.N Issue 2, ZX 2K BOOST, and Climacool Vento making up the sextet. Though we only have visuals of half the pack (the UB 20, DON, and Vento) it’s easy to spot the themes consistencies. Aside from the monochrome construction, Hu branding and raised, polka-dot triangle glazing feature prominently. The DON goes all-out on the pack’s prevailing message, with tonal “BLACK FUTURE” screened across the lateral midsole, while the tongue’s adidas branding is also swapped out for the same lettering. All three pairs come complete with yellow insoles. You can also expect to see the footwear range release alongside a bevy of clothing and apparel options.

Though there are still three pairs to be revealed, we do have hands on a release date for the pack: December 13th. A seventh pair has joined Pharrell’s adidas “Black Future” collection — a Solar Hu — though it hasn’t received an official release date.

Official looks at the NMD, Ultra BOOST and ZX 2K Boost have all landed ahead of their release on December 13th.
