adidas Equipment turns thirty this year, and as part of a widespread campaign to celebrate, the Three Stripes has tapped a slew of long-time collaborative partners to participate in the fun. So it’s safe to say that the Equipment CSG 91 is a tribute to the first generation of adidas Equipment running shoes. “Homage” was the first working title for Overkill’s model the name was changed to CSG 91 for unknown reasons. The working title played a formative role in our color selection. True to the title “Hommage” we wanted to reinterpret the iconic EQT colors green/red/ blue and translate them into modern times. Those who know our passion for pastel tones understand why we wanted to leave a link to the old series with fresh pastel tones.
