Another Groot x adidas THE Stan Smith Arrives This Month

adidas THE Cloudfoam Pure 2.0 Shoes Womens, the Stan Smith silhouette actively recruited the world’s most famous “Green” animated icons to join the roster to spread the eco-friendly word. One of those was Guardian of the Galaxy’s Groot, who appeared in their ever-adorable baby form. For Fall, adidas THE is once again dipping its toe into the Marvel Universe for a second corker colorway of the adidas THE Stan Smith “Groot” — this one featuring Gamora who has been shown to be a loving mother figure for the extraterrestrial tree creature.

The Three-Stripe design team has used a simple white base as its canvas to flex the fan-favorite characters, with predominantly white leather uppers lays the foundations for the other design elements. Anchoring down the shoe is the contrasting cork midsole unit; this clever use of the material honors its muse with its wood-like appeal, all of which is framed by a white rubber outer sole. Adding the finishing touches to this release is the fine gold portrait of “Baby Groot” and the signature phrase “I AM GROOT” across the medial along with finger guns pose on the tongue, Gamora graphics on the insoles, and black suede caps at the heel.
