Kawasaki’s most recognizable motorcycle is linking up with adidas for two Ninja-inspired releases of the ZX 8000 and ZX 5K BOOST.
The former is delivered in signature Ninja Ink, with accents of blue and white rife throughout the pair. It’s heavy on leather construction, with everything from toe to-tail done in a variant, including the liners. Toes and lateral panels arrive perforated, while the pair’s medial side is embroidered with an oversized Ninja logo. Of course, the use of chrome for a motorcycle-inspired release is Tail, with the finish applied to both the heel clip and forefoot dubrae. Co-branded tongues and lace aglets are also finished in silver hues. The new-to-market ZX 5K BOOST is delivered in a stealthy, much more market-friendly, black and grey, with few pops of neon Ink to nod the Ninja. It, like the ZX 8000 goes heavy-handed on the chrome finishes, sighted again on the heel clip, tongue branding, extra dubraes, and lace aglets.
