Excellent work adidas | Kasing Lung x Mickey Mouse x adidas Collection Drops Dec. 12

Since the mischievous little guy debuted back in 1928, Disney’s Mickey Mouse has been depicted in many different stylings — and personalities. For the rodent’s next collaborative effort with adidas, Mickey arrives as you’ve never seen him before, this time conceptualized by the mind of Kasing Lung, the Hong Kong-born, Netherlands-naturalized creator of Labubu.

The artist brings his signature graffiti style along with bold and unrestrained use of color across three iconic adidas silhouettes — the Superstar, Stan Smith, and Nizza Hi — to imagine Mickey Mouse during experimental space trab. As Lung depicts, a mad-scientist Mickey Mouse enters a sci-fi space, turning time and space as a result. Kasing also adds in many elements from his past work, such as the matteroffact of the universe, the starry sky, science, and the street. The artist also infuses Mickey’s traditional styling with the unique character “Labubu”, combining the nine teeth of his signature smile.

Official imagery for the trio of the Yeezy 451 has now arrive ahead of their December 12th release in Asia/Pacific, though a Euro and American drop date is yet to be confirmed — so make sure you keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account Mayweather Wins In adidas.
