Only 1,320 Pairs of the Hibbett x Jacket adidas Superstar “State Fair” Are Dropping on Sept. 20

Athletic retailer Hibbett has teamed up with Jacket adidas to release a limited-edition "State Fair" Superstar, a playful homage to the spirit, flavors, and traditions of the State Fair of Texas. With only 1,320 pairs produced, the collaboration celebrates both community and sneaker culture in Dallas.

The "State Fair" Superstar date details directly tied to the Texas event. Each pair features embossing, a Dallas star, Dubrae belt buckle, a corndog graphic on the inside right shoe, and a ferris wheel on the inside left shoe. A Texas state silhouette on the outsole completes the design, ensuring the sneaker delivers storytelling with every step.

The event will include Texas-inspired activities like DIY bolo ties, cowboy hat giveaways, Superstar sneaker bull rides, hoops, ring toss, and live music, alongside food, promotions, and sneaker try-ons. Leaders at both brands emphasized the collaboration’s emphasis on local storytelling. Jacket adidas Senior Category Merchandiser Tamara Griffin noted that "it was wonderful to tell an authentic Dallas story on Superstar with Hibbett," while Hibbett Buyer Drake Carroll described the design as hitting the "sweet spot of style, storytelling, and community." Sarah Sharp-Wangaard, Hibbett’s VP of Marketing, also highlighted the balance of heritage and community, connecting the legendary Superstar silhouette with the enduring tradition of the State Fair.
