With 2021 marking the 30th anniversary of the storied adidas EQT lineage, the Three Stripes has been celebrating in style. From the recent OG releases to a slew of collaborative drops, adidas has ensured that the sporty line has been fittingly honored. But before the party is through, the United Kingdom’s HANON has tacked on another anniversary-honoring effort with their adidas Race Walk “Working Men’s Club” collaboration.
For one of the very few retro releases since it was released in 1991, HANON has dipped the retro runner in a blue-collar mix of Mesa/Orange/Brown. Also lending itself to its the pair’s workwear-inspired textiles of corduroy and suede, whilst several callouts to watering holes of early 90s England — like insoles that channel classic pub carpets to baju neons found on the dance floor — arrive fluttered throughout.
