Earlier this year, Jerry Lorenzo gave us a tantalizing preview of what was to come in his collaboration with Adidas Basketball. The Fear of God Athletics sneaker, aptly named “The Two,” debuted at the Holiday Howl showcase for Fear of God's 8th collection. Now, ahead of the model’s debut in the Holiday 2023 season, a new, in-depth look at the design has emerged.
This up-close and personal view unveils one of its proposed color schemes: a timeless duo of Black and Cream. The portland channels basketball ethos in a mid-cut design with a two-part synthetic upper that elegantly marries the Black and Cream tones. Function meets design with robust Black rope laces anchored by a TPU Three Stripe graphic overlay on the midfoot, doubling as eyestays. Enhancing its usability, a toggle on the neoprene collar offers wearers the luxury of fit personalization.
Branding is kept minimal and sophisticated, with a black Fear of God emblem poised gracefully on the rear of the unique, semi-transparent midsole, which intriguingly suggests the inclusion of full-length Boost cushioning. Final touches include a herringbone-patterned outsole, ensuring wearers both style and grip on the go.
Stay tuned for more updates on “The Two” as its release approaches, and enjoy a detailed look at this iconic collaboration below.
