Beyoncé’s debut collection has supposedly been in the works for some time, and yesterday the Queen herself shared a very first teaser at her Ivy Park capsule’s footwear offering; an imaginative interpretation of the iconic Samba silhouette. The soccer training shoe is revamped into a platform-soled sizing sneaker, utilizing premium leathers, supple suede toe overlays and a classic white, maroon and gum palate. Subtle embellishments like tonal tongue branding, ribbed tongues, and stylish weaving rope lacestays add some extra intrigue to the well-crafted silhouette, while a pop of orange piping around the sole unit adds the perfect amount of powerphase contrast to complete the pair.
