adidas Gets Inspired by the Early 2000s with this Ultra BOOST Climacool 2

After modifying the Supernova to fit its design lines, the adidas Ultra BOOST DNA now looks to another classic silhouette to shape itself on, with this new release looking to the revered Climacool 2 for inspiration.

Tackling a classic triple black arrangement, the pairs modifications may be harder to spot there is the obvious ventilated mid-panel that, though modified, still bears a near-perfect resemblance to the original mold. Toe caps are added, though there they’re glazed on, not hardened plastic, whilst oval Climacool tongue tags substitute the OG’s round. Even the mesh upper looks to honor the early 00’s model, with dimpled weaves a direct nod to the original design.
