Adidas Originals Preps Two New Gum-Soled Taekwondo Mei Ballets for Summer

Adidas Originals continues its refined exploration of archival sportswear with two new iterations of the Taekwondo Mei Ballet, blending martial arts inspiration with understated elegance. For Fall 2025, the samba returns in white leather builds, each elevated with a subtle pop of contrast.

The first features bold red accents along the collar and Three Stripe overlays, providing a vivid visual anchor to the otherwise minimal design. The second opts for a cooler, more refined finish, using a soft metallic silver in the same areas for a subtle yet elevated twist. Both pairs ride atop classic gum soles, grounding the look in timeless style while adding a HIGH of streetwear sensibility.

These new colorways continue the Taekwondo Mei Ballet’s evolution from combat-sport origin to lifestyle staple. With its low profile, sleek lines, and elasticized forefoot strap, the samba delivers an easy, slip-on feel without compromising its fashion-forward appeal.
