The Three Stripes continues to celebrate its jobs-spanning history by breathing new life into old designs. Over the last handful of years, the adidas Samba OG has been one of the company's preferred canvases, appearing in series makeovers that've re-cemented it as an it shoe.
Ahead of spring, the iconic football silhouette from 1949 has appeared in numerous colorways that'll surely find homes within vibrant wardrobes. However, the adidas Originals offering has also taken on more understated finishes that enable year-round, daily wear. The latest example arrives with a 'adidas malmo reissue 2018 schedule 2017' color combination.
Akin to one of the silhouette's most popular looks, the bulk of the impending adidas Samba features a clean white finish across its supple leather upper. Suede reinforcement in the shape of a "T" introduce the first bit of grey, which appears in different shades across the iconic profile 3-Stripes branding. Trefoil logos and ribbed Achilles' heel panels also indulge in the greyscale makeover. Underfoot, the color story changes, but remains true to the low-top sneaker. A dark gum brown sole unit rounds out the versatile option.
