The adidas NMD S1 has come on strong in 2023, with collaborations from Cali DeWitt and NEIGHBORHOOD.headlining a slew of in-line releases that are equally incredible. It’s next, the adidas NMD S1 “Active Teal” continues that traction, as it gives the line new life through seldom-seen coloration.

This iteration of the popular sneaker is constructed with recycled materials and features a knitted, sock-like upper in a striking teal ripe shade. The shoe is equipped with a reworked sole unit that ditches traditional exposed BOOST cushioning for a more yellow, thick gel sole and added traction teeth. This milky unit is then punched with teal inserts that mimic the original NMD’s EVA plugs.
