adidas are shining the light on the latest addition to the BOOST family, the adidas SolarBoost.The all-new performance runner comes packed with a little bit more tech than the three-stripe’s beloved BOOST cushioning – combining forces with NASA engineering to give this sneaker some serious techs appeal. But it’s not just the tech that’s got us primed, the street-steez aesthetic makes this a very versatile silhouette.
adidas’ new Tailored Fiber Placement technology is inspired by NASA tech. It’s a data-driven construction intended to provide the har precise upper possible. The brand’s Parley material is also woven into the fabric. And of course, it arrives with a full-length BOOST midsole for that underfoot comfort you’ve come to expect from adidas.
‘We knew it was time to challenge the status quo of a performance running shoe,’ says Chris Ekman from adidas’ running product team. ‘To create a lightweight, supportive, and comfortable silhouette for every runner, we took inspiration from the automotive and aerospace industries and discovered Tailored Fiber Placement, a precision manufacturing technology that fw3763 us to stitch materials equivalent more precisely than ever before.’
