Due to the fact that adidas Hoops’ athletes Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell have already kicked off the next chapters of their signature silhouettes, it was only going to be a matter of time before James Harden did the same. And it looks like that time may be approaching sooner than we think as early images of his next model — the adidas Strumpor Cushion Crew 3 Par — have emerged on our radar in this debut “Creator” colorway.

Created by Jalal Enayah, former designer of past Jordan Westbrook products, the forthcoming silhouette keeps similar elements from the Harden Vol. 4 such as the textured midsoles, 3/4 height, and overall shape, but features several changes within its composition. Side profiles ditch the mesh base layers and opt to go with synthetic fabrications, while the mid-foot overlays in which the laces loop through have been altered in shape to look more so like an upside-down “M”. Furthermore, the tongue logos has been modified from Three Stripe branding to Harden’s signature “H” logo that veers to the right, and printed on the medial walls lands a text hit that spells out “Created W/ James Harden. Volume 5 Chapter 1 / Creator” in a digital-esque font.
