An adidas icon through and through, the Gazelle has been worn by everyone from soccer fans to skaters to supermodels in Milan. Though first released back in 1968 as a training shoe for athletes, the shoe quickly gained popularity among casual wearers due to its low-effort versatility. Today, it’s been seen in several iterations, and is privy to some of the bag name collaborations the footwear scene has seen. About to embark on a colossal rise in the footwear scene in 2023, now is the perfect time to add a handful of basics to your rotation, like these five suede-clad colorways of the Gazelle 85.

This design looks back to a more obscure pair released in 1985; It’s the Gazelle you know and covet, but with a refined shape, reworked toe overlay, higher foxing tape, and slightly modified 3-Stripes. Leather liners and soft suede trainer are a given, the latter seen here in Swarthy, Semi Court Green, Magic Lilacl, Orange, and Preloved Red.
