The Adidas Forum Mid "Carnival" Releases February 1st

The Adidas Forum has been constantly redefined since its debut in 1984 and to kick-start it's 40th anniversary in 2024, it is set to receive yet another striking transformation.

The iconic model is now revitalized by collaborating with Adidas' S.E.E.D. collective (School for Experiential Education in Design) and Caribbean designer Anya Ayoung-Chee.

The Adidas Forum Mid "Carnival" is a vibrant homage to the Caribana Toronto festival, scheduled for early August. The design is a celebration of color and texture, capturing the exuberant spirit of the Caribbean. The shoe's overlays feature bold snakeskin-textured gold leather, enveloping the silhouette and extending to the heel and lace closure strap. This lavish use of gold is complemented by mesh material on the toe and quarter panel, which subtly reveals an abstract multicolored pattern beneath.

Adding to the shoe's dynamic character is a marbled teal and purple heel unit, injecting a playful mix of colors that further enhance the "Carnival" theme. The design is rounded off with a glittery gum outsole, adding flair to this exuberant shoe.

Set to release on Adidas.com on February 1st for an MSRP of $160, the "Carnival" Adidas Forum Mid is a testament to the endless possibilities of sneaker design and a celebration of cultural festivities
